The community empowerment program was carried out by Dana Mustadhafin, especially for shallot farmers in Sambi Village, Sambirejo District, Sragen Regency, Central Java. It has entered its second year, where this program began in July 2021.
With an area of 6000 M2, this onion planting program is able to empower around 20 farmers from the process of land cultivation and planting seeds to harvesting. Alhamdulillah on Thursday, January 19, 2023. It has been successfully harvested with a yield of 3 tons.
Since morning, the fostered farmers have gathered in the field. With happy smiles on their faces, they started the process of harvesting shallots until it was finished. It paid off their hard work for 3 months in cultivating and nurturing shallots until today's harvest. In this onion farmer empowerment program, Dana Mustadhafin collaborates with Al Mawaddah Foundations. We hope that with this empowerment, farmers can be helped to improve their living standards to become more prosperous.
